Maria del Carmen Young

Maria del Carmen Young, age 73, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 6, 2021 here in Del Rio. She was born on September 6, 1947 in Metapan, El Salvador. Family members left to cherish her memory include her beloved daughter, Patricia Ochoa of Del Rio; sister, Victoria Schilperoort; grandchildren: Carlos Ochoa, Stephanie Ochoa, Richard Ochoa, and Angela Ochoa; Maria is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. in the Del Rio Funeral Home Chapel of Angels. A Chapel Service will begin on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel. Burial will follow at the San Felipe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Carlos Ochoa, Richard Ochoa, David Cervantes, Nathan Rivera, and Jesus Mendez.
